Nothing Like a Bit of John Mayer to Calm the ol' Nerves
I am more than worried right now.
I am stressed up to my eyeballs.
I have left my home in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and moved to Winchester, Hampshire. That in itself is a huge change. Nuneaton is a pretty common town, bit of class here and there but not a "nice" town. Winchester, however, is entirely different - and comes at a price! Everything is hugely expensive.
But that's the least of my worries, I'm about to get myself into £40,000 worth of debt by going to University of Winchester to study Journalism and now I'm not sure if it's the university I want to attend... I know I should have researched it more but I've been so excited about it up until now - now I'm actually here.
I can't help but feel it may have been a lack of guidance, consdering no one I know, including previous Journalism tutors, have ever studied Journalism at university.
But there is nothing I can do this very minute, considering it's 1am.
So, to calm my nerves, I put on the unbeatable, incredible, brilliant, beautiful, soulful, amazing album 'Where The Light Is - Live in LA' by John Mayer.
I thought I'd share a few of the best songs, in my opinion, on the album. If you don't like them, well, you have no taste.

Dorothy's Kittens
I posted a little while ago about my beautiful cat Dorothy going into labour.
She has since had six gorgeous little kittens.
I thought I'd post some picture of the adorable little things for you to say 'AWWW' at.
The picture to the right was taken at the vets. Four kittens down and Dorothy was looking incredibly tired and despite still having two kittens to go, it had been over two hours since she had her last. For this reason, we bundled her in the car at 11pm, (we being my mum and I), and took her to the out of hours vets - costing over £100 just for the call out.
Typically, by the time we got there, both kittens had been born and were alive and well.
Their names from top to bottom are Penny, Bernadette, Sheldon, Beyoncé, Frank Lucas and Howard.
It has now been around two weeks since the birth and each kitten has developed a slight personality. Mine and my boyfriend's favourite kittens are Sheldon and Beyoncé - they're just adorable.

Sheldon, the first day he had his eyes open. Just adorable aren't they! |

A Little Insight...
I am forever on my MacBook, whether it just be listening to my iTunes, watching a film, checking my Facebook or posting on Blogger - it's always on.
Quite often, my fabulous boyfriend Danny is with me and we always end up messing around on the Photo Booth app - so I thought I'd share some of the quite ridiculous photos we have taken.
Enjoy!

And before you say it, yes, we do have too much time on our hands.

Results Day
It's that time of year again... thousands of students accross the country line up in order to get their grades and see if they managed to get into the University of their choice after months of waiting.... and waiting... and waiting.
However, I didn't have to do this because I got into the University of Winchester to study BA Journalism about two months ago.
WOOO! WINCHESTER HERE I COME.

American Gangster Soundtrack
WOW.
JUST WOW.
I watched American Gangster for the first time ever a couple of days ago and seriously, what a film.
But that is besides the point, the soundtrack is brilliant.
This is one of the songs from it and it is just fantastic, it may just be because I like this kind of music but I do think this is talent.

Taken 2
And if you're thinking "Taken 2? As in a sequel to the film Taken?" then you're right. I didn't believe it either.
Here's the trailer:
I'm not going to lie, I am incredibly excited for this film, coming out on 5th October, 2012. The reason for this being my ultimate love for the first film. Neeson is an actual boss in the film.
However, I did have to wrack my brains to think what could possibly go wrong again. The film ended. The storyline ended. Neeson is retired. What could possibly be featured in the second film?
I wasn't impress in the trailer with the line "Listen closely, your mother has been taken. You will be taken too." It's a bit like, what a surprise, the same as the first film. I really do hope it isn't just overkill of the masterpiece that was Taken.
I'm remaining hopeful that this film will be brilliant. Please, please let it be brilliant.
